Business Development Manager - HVAC Products

Business Development Managers opportunity with this large successful manufacturer of HVAC fire safety products. Covering London and the south of England you will develop and maximise business through sales and networking.

Salary: c£53k basic + c£60K in OTE & Profit Share + Luxury Electric sports car

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Field Sales: Promote a comprehensive range of fire and smoke safety HVAC products.
  • Travel & Office Work: Spend three days a week on the road and two days in the Kent office.
  • Project Management: Secure projects and manage relationships with top-tier main construction contractors
  • Specification Sales: Win specifications with M&E consultants.
  • Client Engagement with M&E contractors and HVAC distributors.
  • Business Development: Focus 70% on new business development and 30% on account management.
  • Order Management: Follow specifications through to order, with values ranging from £100k - 300k.
  • Supporting and deputising for the Sales Director.
  • Team Collaboration: Participate in weekly virtual meetings with the field sales team.

Ideal Candidate:

We are looking for a motivated individual with:

  • Sales Experience: Proven track record in field sales with HVAC-related products, ideally in fire safety.
  • Client Relationships: Experience selling to top-tier main contractors or HVAC specification field sales experience with M&E consultants.
  • Product Knowledge: No specific knowledge of fire safety products required, as full product training will be provided.
  • Skills: Ability to generate new business, manage and expand existing accounts, work independently and as part of a team, strong communication skills, IT literacy, and a driven attitude.

This is a permanent job with a basic salary that depends on experience and the expectation that this salary would be more than doubled with bonus & commission.
