This position requires a Purchase Ledger to join our Accounting & Finance team in the property industry, based in Hitch. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing invoices, reconciling supplier statements, and performing bank reconciliations.

Description

  • Processing invoices in a timely and accurate manner
  • Reconciling supplier statements and resolving any discrepancies
  • Performing bank reconciliations
  • Assisting with month-end closure
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date vendor files
  • Preparing payment runs
  • Responding to supplier queries
  • Supporting the finance team with ad hoc tasks as required

Profile

A successful Purchase Ledger should have:

  • Prior knowledge in a similar Purchase Ledger role
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
