About the Role:

As a Trainee Dental Nurse, you will work closely with the Dentist, assisting in a variety of NHS and Private dental procedures to ensure patients receive exceptional care. You will thrive in a collaborative and professional setting, where teamwork and accountability are fundamental to the practice's success.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Providing chair side assistance to the Dentist, ensuring the necessary equipment and materials are readily available
  • Offering compassionate care and support to a wide range of patients
  • Following health and safety guidelines and infection control protocols
  • Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in clinical areas, as well as disinfecting equipment and instruments
  • Accurately recording patient clinical data
  • Completing daily, weekly, and monthly clinical logs and checks

Training and Development:

We support Trainee Nurses who are enrolled in, or working towards, a Dental Nursing Qualification. For those who haven't started their course yet, we can assist in finding the right course provider.

The National Diploma in Dental Nursing (Level 3) includes:

  • On-the-job training
  • Online learning modules
  • Face-to-face training sessions
  • Completion of a Record of Experience
  • Written and practical examinations
