Adecco Manchester are pleased to be recruiting for a Press Brake Operator to join a specialist Engineering business based in Middleton, Manchester.
Please note, we are only able to consider candidates living within a reasonable commuting distance to Middleton.
- Monday-Friday
- No weekends/bank holidays/evening work
- 8.30am - 4.45pm - Mon-Thur
- 8.30am-4pm - Friday
- 33 days holiday including bank holidays
- £12.50-£13.00p/h
- Full time and permanent
Responsibilities:
- Operate a variety of Sheet Metal Machinery, with a focus on Press Brakes
- Read and interpret engineering drawings to ensure precise and accurate bending of metal components.
- Set up and adjust machines to meet production requirements (desirable)
- Perform quality inspections to ensure finished products meet the highest standards.
- Collaborate with colleagues to optimise production processes and achieve targets.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
Requirements:
- Excellent understanding of engineering drawings and specifications.
- Proficient in English language.
- Strong attention to detail and a focus on quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual.
