They have approached us to help them find a senior Solutions Architect to join the team.
Job Description
In this role, you will serve as the lead Solution Architect, overseeing the integration of the financing platform into our client's infrastructure. You will act as the primary technical liaison, facilitating client engagement and ensuring seamless implementation.
You'll collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including Developers, Designers, Project Managers, Business Analysts, Testers, the Change Team, and ICT Leadership. Your role will involve designing, specifying, and overseeing the successful delivery of the integration.
Additionally, you will contribute to the development and implementation of the architecture strategy, focusing on the future state of the application, data, and cloud infrastructure. Key objectives include:
- Ensuring the scalability and resilience of both the client's infrastructure and the customer-facing application to handle high volumes with zero downtime.
- Developing a global-local model to support international expansion.

The Successful Applicant
Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven experience in prototyping and showcasing potential solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to design practical solutions for real-world challenges, considering time constraints.
- Strong track record in developing and delivering high-quality systems and applications.
- Experience working in high-volume environments.
- Expertise in both relational and NoSQL databases.
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent qualification.
- Experience working in ISO 27001 accredited environments with knowledge of information security standards.
- Extensive experience in system integration, delivering end-to-end solutions.
- Comprehensive understanding and hands-on experience with the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and project management methodologies such as PRINCE2, Agile, and Waterfall.
- Cloud certification (AWS or Azure Solution Architect) or equivalent cloud experience.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Expertise in web and mobile customer-facing applications.
- Strong database and SQL proficiency.
- Willingness to expand knowledge and adopt new technologies.
- Proficient in diagramming techniques (swim lanes, flow charts, process maps, and system diagrams).
- Analytical problem-solver with a keen attention to detail.
- Modest, hardworking, and energetic, with a sense of humor and passion for driving business improvement.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
