Building Physics Consultant

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing building performance firm, who specialise in providing building physics, sustainability and Net Zero Consultancy. They are looking for a Building Physics Consultant to join their team in Leeds.
Role responsibilities for a Building Physics Consultant include:
- Carry out Net zero and whole life carbon modelling using IES-VE software
- Produce general energy and sustainability statements for developments
- Carryout studies in relation to BREEAM credits which will include thermal comfort, low and zero carbon technologies, and predicted operational energy
- Carry out building performance and operational energy optimisation
The ideal Building Physics consultant will have:
- An educational background within sustainability, in particular an architectural engineering degree would be beneficial
- A minimum of 2 years' experience within a building physics or another relevant role
- Experience with producing Whole Life Carbon assessments and LCAs
- Proficiency with IES software to carry out energy modelling and overheating assessments
- Excellent communication skills
