Remedial Electrician with Testing 42k basic Reading Newbury area.
A remedial electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.

- Responsibilities:
- Installing and Repairing: Remedial electricians install, troubleshoot, repair, and conduct tests on electrical systems.
- Reading Blueprints: They read technical diagrams and blueprints to guide their work.
- General Maintenance: Performing general electrical maintenance tasks.
- Inspecting Components: Inspecting transformers, circuit breakers, and other electrical components.
- Troubleshooting: Using appropriate testing devices to troubleshoot electrical issues.
- Replacing Equipment: Repairing and replacing equipment, electrical wiring, and fixtures.
- Compliance: Following National Electrical Code and state/local building regulations.
- Circuit Breaker Maintenance: Performing circuit breaker corrective maintenance.
- HVAC Knowledge: Maintaining knowledge of heating and air conditioning systems.
- Requirements:
- Apprenticeship Completion: Completion of an electrician apprenticeship.
- Experience: Prior experience working as an electrician in the commercial sector
- Education: High school diploma and an electrician degree from a technical college.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license.
- Deep Knowledge: Understanding of electrical systems, power generation, blueprints, maintenance, and repair.
- Testing and Inspection 2391 or equivalent
