Our client, a global engineering consultancy, is seeking a talented Resourcing Specialist to join their team. With a focus on delivering sustainable engineering and design solutions, our client is committed to making a positive impact on the built environment.
You will play a key role in partnering with hiring managers to develop resourcing plans for all locations, disciplines, and support functions within our client's organisation. You will be responsible for sourcing candidates through various channels, including job boards and networking, to maintain a diverse talent pool. Furthermore, you will be involved in screening and supporting candidates throughout the recruitment process, ensuring a high standard of candidate experience.
- Hours: Monday - Friday 9am-5:30pm with an hour's lunch (37.5 hours per week)
- ASAP start date until January 2025
- Based in Gosforth
- Free parking onsite
- Hourly rate: £13.84 - £16.92ph paid on a weekly basis through OA
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborating with hiring managers to develop resourcing plans and strategies.
- Direct sourcing of candidates through job boards, networking, and talent pools.
- Screening and supporting candidates to maintain a high standard of candidate experience.
- Enhancing the end-to-end recruitment experience for candidates and management.
- Creating national and global advertising campaigns in collaboration with appropriate suppliers.
- Collating and circulating recruitment-related management information.
- Managing and monitoring external suppliers.
- Maintaining real-time data on the applicant tracking system.
- Supporting the on boarding of candidates to employees.
- Working closely with stakeholders.
- Liaisng and working alongside the Recoursing Manager.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as an in house Recruiter.
- Proven ability to problem-solve and provide innovative solutions in a fluid environment.
- Strong collaborative and proactive approach to work.
- Familiarity with direct sourcing methods and recruitment technologies.
- Up-to-date knowledge of employment, data protection, and immigration legislation.
