About the role
We are working with the school to appoint a passionate Sociology teacher who will lead the Sociology Department in powerful knowledge, curriculum rigour and expert teaching practice - leading to outstanding outcomes for students. Sociology is a popular and successful subject throughout KS3, 4 and 5.
This is an inclusive Jewish Secondary School, and the students and staff come from a range of cultural and religious backgrounds. The students consistently attain high standards and their behaviour in lessons and around the school is good.
About you
- QTS with a Sociology specialism
- Experience teaching Sociology at KS3 to KS5 in a secondary school
- Proven background of high pupil progress
- A real desire to make a positive difference to the pupils you work with
