Are you an experienced Counterbalance Operator? Do you have experience with a clamp attachment or other dynamics surrounding Forklift Driving? Are you based in or around Somerset?
We have an initially temporary (Days) role available within Aggregate Industries Torr Quarry site. This role is ideal for someone with a valid Counterbalance License and the clamp tickets including experience and considers themselves to be punctual, reliable and proactive.
Role: Counterbalance Fork Lift Operative
Location: Torr Quarry, Somerset, BA4 4RA
Rate: £13.56 per hour
Contract length: Rolling Contract
Shift Patterns: Monday to Friday - 6am to 3pm
Opportunity for overtime is also available and successful applicants should be open to this if needed
Responsibilities:
- Operation of mobile plant machinery
- Operation of fixed plant machinery
- Dispatching and controlling the quality of product
- Carry out daily plant inspections
- Inspection & Completion of Plant routines
- Execution of other reasonable requests
Essential requirements:
- Previous experience on a Counterbalance Fork Lift
- Previous experience within a Warehouse/ Construction Environment
- Physical Fitness as role will include physical exertion
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to adhere to early starts
- Flexibility towards overtime
- Strong knowledge of UK Health and Safety legislation
