Search consultancy are supporting a Global Accounting Operations Teams and are looking to recruit for Financial Reporting Accountant in Liverpool for a fixed 12 month contract.
This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who is organised, has excellent attention to detail, strong analytically thinking and capable of making decisions and to think through irregular issues. You will also require the ability to build and maintain sound relationships and collaborate effectively.
This role will report to the Senior or Manager, Financial Accounting and you will be responsible to perform reconciliations, including clarity for CAPEX, IC/IG sales and COGS confirmations and reconciliations, identify reconciliation issues, prepare and post accruals and reclassification entries that are not needed for discussion with cost centre owners, prepare and post recurring and standard manual journals and analyse and report of variances between accruals, budget and forecast. You will also be required to support internal and external audit request of documentation of Accounts payable invoices to auditors, with support of reporting manager.
You will have to be part qualified with a great deal of finance experience and have strong, global international experience. You will also need to be experienced on using SAP.
The role offers a salary of 40-43k per annual depending on experience and are paid on a temporary basis. They also offer hybrid working which is full time Monday-Friday.
