Programme Manager

Venn Group is working with a Local Authority to recruit an Interim Programme Manager, to scope out and develop programme and project plans for an upcoming transformation across multiple service areas.

The programme will cover business improvement, processes and systems.

Experience of transformation in areas such as Customer Services & Experience, Housing, and Corporate is highly desirable.

Local government experience is essential for this position; applications without this will unfortunately not be considered on this occasion.

Responsibilities:

  • Scoping and developing detailed programme and project plans, which build in dependencies and in-flight projects/improvement work
  • Establish the oversight and governance of the workstreams and projects
  • Engage with senior stakeholders and operational teams to understand challenges
  • Interpret business and policy constraints that need to be considered
  • Develop recommendations for future state and how to deliver these improvements

  • Working pattern: 1-2 days onsite per week
