Exciting opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to join our client a Manufacturing Company located in Hertford on a full time, permanent basis.
This role would suit someone that is keen to progress into a finance focused position in the future. This is an office-based position although, remote working one day a week would be considered after a 6-month probation period.
Accounts Assistant Position Overview
Credit Control:
- Proactively chase late/non-payments via telephone and email, turning outstanding debts into paid invoices.
Sales Ledger:
- Onboard new customers and manage their accounts seamlessly.
- Issue pro-forma invoices and ensure monthly customer statements are timely and accurate.
- Retrieve missing Proof of Delivery (POD) documents and handle customer queries with finesse.
Sales Order Input:
- Process sales orders efficiently on Sage, ensuring our sales pipeline is always up to date.
General Responsibilities:
- Keep our accounts paperwork organized and easily accessible.
- Scan supplier invoices to our server for a seamless digital workflow.
- Take on various ad-hoc duties that make every day different and exciting.
Accounts Assistant Position Requirements
- Experience working within a similar role previously is essential
- Sage 50 experience preferred.
Accounts Assistant Position Remuneration
Salary £26,000 - £28,000 dependent upon experience.
Annual leave 25 days + bank holidays
Days Monday - Friday
Hours 9am - 5pm
