Description
As the Head of Category Management - Purchasing you will,
- Lead the development and execution of category management across a complex, global manufacturing operation
- Hire and manage a diverse team of category managers, building engagement and performance
- Drive cost reduction initiatives and value creation as a direct effect of the strategy
- Advocate and drive the value of the approach with internal and external stakeholders
- Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments, and enable complete visibility of the value created by the function
Profile
A successful Head of Category Management - Purchasing should have:
- A track record of rolling out Category Management in a complex, multisite operation
- Proven leadership and team management skills, enabling hire performance
- Working knowledge of purchasing within a global Manufacturer
- Energy and resilience with first class communication skills
