Customer Service Advisor

About the role

Here at Publica we believe in giving the best service possible to our customers. You will be the first port of call in helping our customers via telephone, email, online, web chat and face to face. In this key role you will provide flexible customer service support working in a busy contact centre, responding to a wide range of customer enquiries on virtually all services provided by the Council. You will need to be able to handle all enquiries with a positive helpful attitude.

We have two positions available. If you have a helpful positive attitude and take pride in the quality of service you provide, we would love to hear from you!

You will need

  • Excellent active listening skills that demonstrate a customer focus and understanding and have the ability to interpret customer requests for information
  • The ability to multitask
  • Outstanding ICT and keyboard skills and the ability to simultaneously use multiple Microsoft, Google and bespoke systems
  • Experience in a fast paced, high volume customer focussed environment e.g. contact centres would be an advantage
  • A minimum of 5 qualifications equivalent to NVQ level 2 or GCSE at Grade C/4 or above, must include Maths and English
