Receptionist/Administrator

We are recruiting a Receptionist/Administrator for our client, based in Marlow. We are looking for someone personable, friendly and well presented with good IT skills. The role is varied and is a great opportunity to join a well established and successful company. Experience would be an advantage but they would also consider a bright, quick to learn school or college leaver with excellent communication skills looking for their first office based role.

The salary is competitive, dependant on skills and experience and they also offer a discretionary annual bonus, 25 days holiday, pension and annual salary review.

The hours are Monday to Friday 8.45 - 5.15.

Duties include

  • Answering telephone
  • Greet clients/offer refreshments
  • Open post & distribute
  • Frank post & take to box or post office
  • Monitor admin, enquiry and general emails, and reply/forward as necessary
  • Prepare and submit information to Companies House. Liaise with clients to ensure correct
  • Maintain holiday calendars/process leave requests. Reconcile to timesheets on a regular basis
  • Meter readings electricity & water
  • Organise new contracts for facilities suppliers
  • Photocopiers - organise engineer visit when fault arises and provide monthly meter reading to supplier
  • Purchase of office kitchen consumables milk, biscuits etc
  • Arrange/liaise with various publishers for local advertising
  • Produce customer statements of accounts (client debtors) for Partners and send to clients as necessary
  • Monitoring and processing of weekly timesheets
  • Prepare occasional sales invoices
  • Monitor outside waste bins & liaise with Biffa

Skills/Experience

  • Ideally experience in a similar role
  • Good IT skills in MS Office
  • Good team worker
  • Able to use initiative
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Personable, friendly
