We're working in partnership with Leicestershire County Council to deliver innovative, high-quality residential care services for vulnerable children and young people across Leicestershire. As part of the UK's largest Children's Charity, we're looking for caring, confident, and committed individuals to join our Bank Staff Team in a flexible support role.
Each home supports up to three children aged 8-18 with emotional and behavioural needs—helping them to build confidence, develop life skills, and thrive in a safe, nurturing environment.
What You'll Be Doing
- Building meaningful, supportive relationships with young people
- Promoting emotional wellbeing and encouraging independence
- Contributing to the smooth running of the home, including cooking and cleaning
- Accurately maintaining records and documentation
- Ensuring the highest standards of safeguarding and safety
- Being a consistent and positive role model every day
What We're Looking For
- A driver with access to your own vehicle (essential)
- Experience working with children or young people with emotional or behavioural needs
- At least 1 year of residential care experience at a supervisory level
- A Level 3 Diploma in Children & Young People (or a willingness to complete it)
- A solid understanding of safeguarding procedures
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and bank holidays
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
