Sterling Williams are engaged with a Cross-Border payments organisation, based in London who are looking for a permanent Finance Analyst. This is a role that works from the office 3 days per week, with 2 from home, and will support the global finance and treasury functions. You will likely be CIMA qualified, or part qualified, with a minimum of 3 years experience in Financial analysis, FP&A or as a management accountant - preferably from the Financial Services/FinTech industry.
What you'll be doing:
The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting the financial operations by providing comprehensive analysis, reporting, and forecasting. This position requires a strong analytical mindset, and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and profitability analysis.
- Develop and maintain complex financial models to support strategic decision-making.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyse financial data.
- Perform financial forecasting and budgeting, identifying potential risks and opportunities.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and economic conditions.
The successful Financial Analyst will likely have:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field alongside professional qualifications (CIMA/ACA/ACCA) or equivalent - Studier, Part Qual or fully qualified.

- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modelling tools.
- Demonstrates excellent financial and quantitative skills.
