Midlothian-based role | fully onsite role
Full Time hours | Monday to Friday - 9:00am to 5:30pm
Permanent role
Salary up to £30,000 + benefits per annum (depending on experience)

Search Consultancy are currently working exclusively with this leading business in Midlothian to recruit this role on a permanent basis.

The main purpose of this role will be to provide comprehensive on-site office management for this office, as well as virtual office management for several of the client's smaller offices across the UK.

_Duties involved in this role will include: _

  • Maintaining a well-organised and efficient office environment
  • Handling incoming calls, emails & correspondence efficiently
  • Acting as first point of contact & the "face of the business" for external enquiries
  • Coordinating & ordering office supplies, equipment, and facilities maintenance
  • Managing the office schedules, appointments, and conference room bookings
  • Arranging hospitality for visitors and preparing the office for external meetings
  • Ensuring a welcoming and professional reception for all visitors and colleagues
  • Management of the office budget
  • Assisting colleagues with any required travel & accommodation bookings
  • Providing H&S management for the office in line with company guidance
  • Management of incoming & outgoing post and courier services
  • Working remotely with other UK based offices to provide office & facilities support
  • Providing holiday cover for team members & the C-suite Executive Assistant when required
  • Maintaining IT documentation & ordering of new IT equipment when required for new starts
  • Providing comprehensive Administrative support to the Head of Operations as & when required

_In order to be considered for this role your skills and experience should include: _

  • Previous experience within an Office Manager or similar role carrying out duties in line with the above - this experience is ESSENTIAL
  • Excellent interpersonal & communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent organisation skills, with the ability to pivot your focus depending on the needs of the wider team
  • Solid IT Skills including the use of the full MS Office suite
