One of the UK's largest Property Management companies, Residential Management Group, has an opportunity for an experienced Finance Support Analyst, based at our Hoddesdon Head office, to provide financial support to the Property Managers, produce documentation for client meetings and assist in the budget preparation process.

The Finance Support Analyst is based at our Hoddesdon Office, working 8am to 4pm (we may be able to flex start and finish times for the right candidate), Monday to Friday, with the possibility of occasional travel to our London Office for meetings with the wider property team (mileage or travel costs will be reimbursed).

What are some of the responsibilities you will have?

  • Producing periodic reporting to Clients / Property Managers
  • Provide property managers with financial information as requested within a reasonable timeframe
  • Undertake transfer of funds correctly within client accounts
  • Ensure service charge budgets are entered into the system accurately and within a timely manner
  • Assist in the preparation of budget reports for properties
  • Assist in the preparation of six months and annual service charge accounts on key client developments
  • Assist the Property manager in financial interpretation and analysis
  • Dealing with queries from leaseholders about their accounts
  • What skills, experience and qualifications are we looking for in our Finance Support Analyst?

Essential

  • Experience of working in an accountancy or finance related position
  • Microsoft Excel at intermediate level (VLookUps, Sum ifs, equations, Pivot tables)
  • High attention to detail with the ability to see errors and challenge information
  • The ability to analyse and investigate accounting anomalies
  • Strong communication skills, able to liaise with non-financial internal and external customers
  • Self-motivated and organised, able to prioritise own workload
  • A team player, demonstrates working towards a common goal

Preferred

  • Experience working within a property accounts or finance environment dealing with invoicing, late payments, reconciling banks accounts, budgets and service charge reporting
  • Working towards a professional qualification in accountancy or finance - ideally to AAT level 3 and working towards level 4
