Housekeeping and Catering Services Manager
- Pay type: £22ph PAYE or £27.45 Umbrella
- Days: Mon – Sunday (2 weekends a month)
- Shift times: 12pm – 8.30pm & 6am- 2pm
- Start: ASAP
- Duration: 3 months (FTC)

If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you as a Housekeeping and Catering Services Manager.
Day to Day of the role:
- Oversee Housekeeping Services to maintain hospital cleanliness, ensuring regular audits and adherence to national guidelines and infection control protocols.
- Supervise Food Service Stewards in meal preparation and delivery, catering to patients' health needs, allergen, and dietary requirements.
- Lead staff recruitment, training, and performance appraisals, managing staffing and scheduling efficiently.
- Set and monitor revenue and patient satisfaction targets, manage budgets, and control expenditure.
- Implement and review standard operating procedures, ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation.
- Maintain high standards of customer service and experience, manage supplier contracts, and ensure competitive pricing.
- Conduct environmental audits and report findings to relevant committees.
- Oversee waste management, ensuring safe and regular waste collection in compliance with health regulations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Relevant qualification or experience in Hospitality Management.
- Comprehensive knowledge of health and safety regulations, including infection control and waste management.
- Proven experience in managing housekeeping and catering services, preferably in a healthcare or hospitality setting.
- Strong leadership, organisational, and time-management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
- Proficiency in IT systems for scheduling, payroll, and inventory management.
