Financial Planning Administrator

Overview:

Are you ready for an exciting new challenge? Our client is looking for a skilled Financial Planning Administrator to support their financial advisers and liaise with providers and third parties. You'll be part of a fast-paced team, providing comprehensive administrative support to ensure clients receive top-tier service.

  • Up to £26,000
  • Full training provided
  • Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm
  • 28 days holiday (3 to be taken at Christmas & New Year)

Job specification:

  • Report to the Administration Manager or equivalent
  • Open and distribute the Post
  • Update and maintain client files and keep them compliant
  • Build relationships with the clients, respond promptly to all queries by post/email & phone
  • Provide support to the advisers, including booking meetings
  • Prepare client valuations, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
  • Prepare simple recommendation reports
  • Process new and existing simple business
  • Deal with providers and be proactive in chasing providers
  • Liaise with other professionals such as accountants, solicitors and product providers
  • Preparing client and adviser packs for annual reviews and ad-hoc meetings
  • Process rebalances, switches and cash replenishment
  • Process death claims and probate
  • Meet clients in the office to assist with forms
  • Train and supports trainees
  • Prepare invoices

Person specification:

  • Experience in an administrative capacity
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Able to work independently with good time management
  • Organised and able to prioritise tasks
  • Confident using programmes such as Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Excellent verbal communication skills (telephone and word)
