Salary: £35,000 - £50,000

Reed Legal are excited to be recruiting on the behalf of a Legal 500, Lexcel accredited, multi-office Law Firm for their office in Basildon.

Duties

  • Help clients with various applications, including visas, permanent residence, naturalization, and citizenship. Guide clients through the paperwork, clarify complex terms, and assist with application forms.
  • Respond to clients' questions, explain legal terms, and provide advice on moving to a new country. Help clients understand visa requirements, permits, and citizenship processes in the UK.
  • File appeals, make arguments, and represent clients in hearings. Handle administrative reviews and judicial review requests.
  • Assist businesses with specific applications, such as Sponsor Licences and Skilled Worker Visas, allowing them to hire foreign workers in the UK.
  • Offer guidance on preparation, expected questions, and effective responses for interviews with immigration authorities.

Experience

  • Qualified Solicitor / Chartered Legal Executive
  • Must be a minimum of 3 years post-qualified
  • Experienced candidate within immigration law – ideally 5+ years
  • Hard-working attitude
  • Ability to effectively time manage
