Title: Senior Project Manager for Fit for Mission

Salary: £45,000-50,000

Hours: Full-time 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Fixed term: Permanent, and includes pension with contributions made solely by employer (no employee contributions required)

Accountable to: Diocesan Programme Manager

Location: Hybrid - flexible but roughly 3 days in the office (St James House) or on visits each week. Some evening work may be required.

What You'll Do:

Working alongside the Diocesan Programme Manager, you will help spearhead this project by:

  • Facilitating meaningful change and growth across our deaneries.
  • Collaborating with diverse teams to deliver impactful projects.
  • Monitoring progress, ensuring accountability and maintaining momentum.
  • Managing and mentoring staff, fostering creativity and innovation.

A committed Christian with a flair for project management and people management, you thrive in team environments and love building strong relationships. You're detail-oriented yet visionary, with a proven track record in delivering results and a passion for facilitating positive change.

Due to the nature of this role, the has been identified as having a Genuine Occupational Requirement to be filled by a Christian who shares the values and the ethos of the Church of England under the provisions of schedule 9 of the Equality Act 2010.
