Adecco - Housing are seeking an Operations Manager (Property Services) to lead and manage the Building Services team within the Team. The primary goal of this role is to ensure that the Schemes are maintained to a high standard, with a focus on maintenance, compliance, and cleaning services.
The successful candidate will head the Building Operations team, working with the Head Of, to deliver exceptional customer service and meet key business objectives, including compliance checks.
Please note a full driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential for this role.
Key responsibilities include:
- Line management of the Maintenance Officer, Compliance Officer, and cleaning staff.
- Supervision of all building/property-related services, encompassing maintenance, compliance, grounds, gardens, and cleaning.
- Collaboration with colleagues in responsive repairs, planned works, and compliance to ensure timely and standard-compliant work execution.
- Management of all health and safety compliance.
- Management of communications with residents regarding building activities.
- Serving as the point of escalation for repair issues, health and safety, or compliance concerns.
We are looking for a candidate who:
- Has excellent communication skills, capable of effectively discussing maintenance needs and compliance standards with varied audiences.
- Possesses a robust understanding of maintenance and compliance management, consistently applying best practices to maintain standards and meet regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrates facilities management expertise, efficiently managing operations to enhance building functionality, safety, and resident satisfaction.
- Has knowledge of cleaning protocols and standards.
