Conference Supervisor

Posted by Aspire Defence Services Ltd.

Are you a dynamic and organised individual with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service? As a Conference Supervisor, you will be at the heart of our operations, ensuring the smooth running of our conference facilities.

Your role will be pivotal in providing top-notch service to our clients and maintaining a well-organised and efficient workspace. You will oversee the Authority Conference space, including meeting rooms and equipment support, ensuring everything runs like clockwork. Working closely with the Authority and other users, you will deliver outstanding customer service every step of the way. During conferences, you will be the go-to person, assisting with video conferences and other equipment to ensure seamless operations.

In addition to conference management, you will keep the Map Store in top shape, providing cover during holidays and sickness periods. Staying on top of all maintenance needs within the building, you will report issues promptly and ensure a safe environment for everyone by reporting defects and near misses, as well as adhering to H&S regulations. You will also maintain accurate information within IT systems, and be flexible to provide cover outside regular hours, including weekends, as needed.

But first, meet the team...

With a 35-year contract, making soldiers' lives better is at the heart of everything we do at Aspire Defence Services.

Seriously, picture a heart (the real one) and imagine how hard it works to keep the body running, making sure every part gets exactly what it needs to thrive. That's our mission; to deliver a modern, fully serviced, flexible working environment for soldiers.

And just as the heart needs certain parts to keep the body alive, we need the dedication and commitment of our people to support our customers. We deliver a broad range of services for one-third of the British Army living and working on our patch, and we're proud of the work we do.

We're all about nurturing great teams, and our award-winning safety and wellbeing initiatives are built on keeping an eye out for one another and having a good work-life balance.

In addition to being part of our team, you'll also get...

  • 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, as well as the option to buy and sell holiday
  • Contributory Company Pension Plan matched up to 6%, plus individual life assurance
  • A shopping discounts scheme
  • Employee assistance and health and wellbeing check ins
  • Reward and recognition to celebrate outstanding achievements
  • Free on-site parking
