About the Role: My client, an award-winning business, based just outside of Baldock, is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Finance Manager to lead their finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing family business that specialises in creating unique and bespoke experiences for their customers. The role is client-facing and involves working closely with project management, design, and internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Prepare management accounts and present financial reports at Directors Meetings.
- Manage customer invoicing, bank reconciliations, and VAT returns.
- Liaise with auditors and external advisors.
- Support project financial processes and ensure accurate financial tracking using Procim.
- Provide training and support to project leads on financial systems.
Skills and Experience:
- Advanced certification in bookkeeping and proficiency with Excel.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Fully qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) is desirable but not essential.
