Learning Support Assistant (LSA) - Exciting Opportunity to Work with pupils with ASD / Mild SEN

Tradewind Recruitment are working alongside a well run and inclusive secondary school based in Hertford to source a number of LSA's to work closely with SEN pupils starting school in Year 7 from September. These pupils have various mild SEN requirements and need dedicated LSA's to support them in some classes in a mainstream school setting.

Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one support to pupils with SEN needs and support with classroom activities
- Assist in implementing personalised learning plans to suit the pupil's needs
- Support with social interactions and the development of social skills
- Collaborate with teachers and SEN staff to assess the progress and attainment
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all pupils
We are looking for candidates who:
- Have previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or LSA or those with experience supporting young people or adults with autism
- Or are highly educated and looking for a post in which to start a career within education
- Possess a genuine passion for supporting young learners
- Demonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills
- Show adaptability, patience and a positive attitude
- Are committed to continuous professional development and learning
