Housing Defect Administrator - Home based

The team are responsible for ensuring that all the new houses built meet the expected standards and quality. They offer a 12-month defect and aftercare service to
Their customers and this is the team you would be working in. Any defect issues are reported by the customer service team and then sent to the defects' mailbox.
You will be responsible for managing this inbox and ensuring the issues are allocated for verification and then, once vetted, assigned to the system and the job order raised for the external contractor to carry out the remedial repair/complete the work. This role will also involve regular phone calls and sending emails to customers to keep them updated on the progress of their defect issue, along with updating of spreadsheets to track the job.

What you'll need to succeed
Ideally, you will have a similar experience of dealing with building defects in a supporting function. You may have worked for a housing developer or builder/maintenance team. You will have strong IT skills with the ability to pick up the CRM system service connect. Excellent communication skills and customer service skills are essential.

Weekly pay, holiday pay and 100% flexibility on working pattern. You can work from home 95% or have the option to work in the office should you wish. The team has a monthly meeting in person.

This is due to start on Sept 2 for 6 months.
