My client is a successful manufacturing business based in Coventry. They have an immediate requirement to recruit a Payroller into their team on a temporary to permanent basis.
Description
- Manage and execute payroll processes accurately and timely
- Collaborate with the HR department to ensure correct employee data
- Resolve payroll discrepancies and answer employee payroll queries
- Prepare payroll reports for management as required
- Ensure compliance with UK payroll legislation and company policies
- Keep up-to-date with changes in payroll laws and regulations
- Assist with year-end procedures such as P60 distribution
- Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed
Profile
A successful Payroller should have:
- A strong understanding of payroll processes and UK payroll legislation
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy
- Excellent numerical skills and proficiency in payroll software
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- The ability to work well in a team and independently
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially
