Senior Press Service Engineer.
I am pleased to be currently recruiting for a Senior Press Service Engineer to work with our Dudley based client.
They are an expanding company with a rich heritage of providing new presses to a wide range of customers in the UK and overseas.
This would ideally suit a field service engineer with a press, lift or industrial machinery background.
- Experience of presses is desirable but not required as full training will be given.
The successful candidate:
- Experience of carrying out servicing and repairs on Mechanical & Hydraulic related machinery throughout the UK. (Some overseas travel will also be required).
- Experience of installation & commissioning of new machinery.
- Demonstrable history of working with pneumatics, hydraulics and mechanical service.
Key Skills:
- BTEC/C&G in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
- Health & Safety training, including ability to produce risk assessments & method statements (RAMS)
- Ability to read engineering & hydraulic drawings.
- Basic electrical fault finding would be an advantage.
- Ability to work under instruction within a team, & to work on own initiative to meet deadlines.
- Forklift Operator's Certificate/ IPAF would be an advantage, although training can be given.
- Mechanical and hydraulic repair and maintenance experience.
Because of the nature of the role as senior press service engineer you will need a clean driving licence and a valid current UK passport.
The ideal candidate will live in close locale to our client's site as you will be required to travel to collect van, equipment, and other personnel from Headquarters.
- Any overnight stays will be organised by the client and all expenses will be paid for in advance. Hotels, food etc.
Hours: Day shift with flexibility. Salary: C£35k - £40k p/a dependant on experience.
