As the Learning & Development Co-ordinator you will provide hands on support to the Head of HR with the implementation of the L&D strategy through the full management of the UK Academy from design, training needs analysis to delivery and working with external training providers. You will be instrumental in supporting the design, creation and delivery of effective and engaging training plans that meet organisational needs.

Key Responsibilites:

  • Provide hands on support to the Head of HR with the implementation of the L&D strategy through the full management of the UK Academy
  • Fully manage and oversee the in-house employee training system that addresses company training needs including training needs assessment, new employee orientation or onboarding, management development, and the measurement of training impact
  • Accurate and timely reporting of all learner training information in the learning management system to ensure full compliance. This includes a full and thorough understanding of the administration and maintenance of the system
  • Maintain the central learning management system by the administration and input of all the required information ensuring that it is always kept up to date
  • Support the Head of HR in producing and providing monthly training information
  • Maintains and sets up reports as directed by the Head of HR and is responsible for maintaining the information
  • Assist the Head of HR to develop and identify learning and development opportunities making the best use of the learning management system in line with the Business Objectives
  • Responsible for ensuring that all course information is uploaded and maintained in the learning management system
  • Communicate and support all Learners in the use of the learning management system across the business and provides training to users on the best use of the system
  • Regular review our training practices and the tools used to ensure they produce the desired Refine the solutions when necessary, liaising with employees, general managers, and the Head of HR throughout
  • Build positive internal and external relationships with Employees, Managers, and any other stakeholders
  • Delivery will require a consistent high standard of administration and non -administration activities
  • Monitor improvements, collate data and set a range of measures and targets to evaluate success

Background:

  • Ability to set up systems, spreadsheets and competently undertake the monitoring and analysis of information
  • Competent and proficient in Microsoft Office packages especially Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing and to explain and support learners using understandable terminology to non-IT personnel
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, able to operate within tight deadlines and manage several work activities at any one time
  • Ability to manage a busy workload and meet deadlines
  • Ability to prioritise and re-prioritise work with minimum notice
  • Ability to manage own workload to achieve set targets and deadlines
  • Ability to establish and maintain professional working relationships with all stakeholders
