Accounts Administrator (1 year FTC)- Outskirts of Newmarket - £25-27k

We are currently recruiting for our client based on the outskirts of Newmarket for a Accounts Administrator to join their team. This is a great role for someone with previous experience in a finance environment to join a thriving business on a 1 year Fixed Term Contract

Salary: £25,000-£27,000 (DOE)

Hours: 8am-5pm Monday-Friday (40 per week)]

Holiday: 23 days + Bank Holidays

Job Responsibilities:

  • Invoice Processing - Manage purchase and sales invoices, credit notes using ERP and Sage software.
  • Credit Control: Oversee debtors following company procedures
  • Match delivery notes to invoices, resolve processing issues, and reconcile accounts.
  • Send monthly statements and chase overdue invoices.
  • Process monthly statements and receipts.
  • Match delivery notes to invoices, resolve processing issues, and reconcile accounts.
  • Support Spares department in busy periods answering calls and covering holiday/sickness.

What are we looking for?

  • Software Skills - proficient in SAGE and Excel.
  • Strong administration abilities.
  • Must have own transport due to location.
  • Effective team player, willing to assist other departments
  • Previous experience in a finance role.
  • Brilliant attention to detail.
