Description
- Manage the complete purchase ledger process from receipt of invoice to payment.
- Ensure timely payment of invoices, maintaining good relationships with suppliers.
- Complete monthly reconciliation of supplier statements.
- Work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and reporting.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives within the finance department.
- Handle queries regarding purchase invoices.
- Other ad-hoc duties as required by the finance team.
Profile
A successful Purchase Ledger should have:
- A solid understanding and working knowledge of purchase ledger processes.
- Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong IT skills, particularly with accounting software and Excel.
- Good communication skills for liaising with suppliers and colleagues.
