Senior Data Engineer
Duration: 6 months
Rate: £550 - £700 per day (Inside IR35)
Location: Remote - UK based
Join a leading retailer's Data team and enhance their Supply Chain Workstream with your data engineering expertise. In this role, you'll be pivotal in developing and maintaining data pipelines, leveraging advanced cloud technologies, and designing robust data solutions. Your proficiency in SQL, Databricks, and Azure tools will be crucial for success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage data pipelines using Databricks, SQL, and related tools.
- Optimise data processes with Azure DataBricks and Azure Data Factory.
- Utilise PySpark and DBT for effective data transformation.
Required Skills & Experience:
- SQL & Data Scripting: Strong knowledge and practical experience.
- Databricks & Azure Tools: Proficient with Databricks, Azure DataBricks, Azure Data Factory.
- Data Design: Experienced with relational and NoSQL databases.
- Data Engineering: Familiar with data pipeline design (e.g., Kimball/Star Schema), data warehousing, ETL/ELT processes.
