Greenkeeper
Ashford (Kent) Golf Club
We are seeking a greenkeeper to join the team at our 18-hole Parkland Golf Course located on the outskirts of Ashford in Kent.
The successful candidate will need to be a strong team player, enthusiastic, willing to learn and with good communication skills, will be required to work full time Monday to Friday - 40 hours per week, with some additional hours on a rota throughout the year - at weekends and on Bank Holidays.
Our ideal Greenkeeper will possess or demonstrate the following requirements:
- At least 2 years green keeping experience.
- NVQ Level 2 in Turf Management qualification.
- Good experience of using Greens equipment and maintaining them
- Experience of cutting all playing surfaces including greens, changing holes, preparing bunkers and tees.
- Knowledge and ability to complete tasks in line with any health and safety regulations and practices, and ideally First Aid qualified.
- Ability to work on own and as part of a team.
- Full Clean UK Driving Licence.
