Holden Knight Healthcare is excited to be recruiting on behalf of a small independent fostering agency based in Birmingham. We are looking for a passionate and experienced Supervising Social Worker to join their supportive and dedicated team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a close-knit team, providing essential support to foster carers and making a real difference in children's lives.

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide supervision, support, and guidance to foster carers to ensure the well-being and stability of placements.
  • Conduct regular visits and assessments to monitor foster carers and the children in their care.
  • Work collaboratively with foster carers, children, local authorities, and other professionals to ensure all statutory responsibilities are met.
  • Participate in the recruitment, training, and development of foster carers.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports in line with regulatory requirements and agency policies.

**Requirements:

  • Social Work England registration and a recognized social work qualification (e.g., DipSW, CQSW, or equivalent).
  • Experience in fostering or children's services with strong knowledge of fostering regulations and standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with foster carers and multidisciplinary teams.
  • A passion for supporting foster carers and improving outcomes for children.
  • A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel as required.
