Residential Conveyancer - Fixed-Term Contract (12 Months Maternity Leave Cover)

Salary: £30,000+ DOE

Working period: 12 Months fixed-term contract starting January 2025

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Thursday: 9:00am to 5:30pm
  • Friday: 9:00am to 5:00pm
  • 1-hour lunch break Total: 37 hours per week

Our client is seeking a full-time Residential Conveyancer to join their Sheldon office on a 12-month fixed-term contract, beginning in January 2025. In this role, you will manage a high-volume caseload of residential property sales, ensuring effective and professional communication with clients, third parties, customers, and colleagues through both phone and written correspondence, all while adhering to tight deadlines.

Your main duties will include but not limited to:

  • Caseload Management: Oversee a diverse range of residential property transactions, managing all aspects from initial instruction to post-completion, ensuring that deadlines are met and legal protocols are followed.
  • Client Interaction: Communicate effectively and professionally with clients, third parties, customers, and colleagues, addressing inquiries and providing updates throughout the conveyancing process.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with team members, partners, and other fee earners to enhance service delivery and foster a positive working environment**.**

Qualifications:

  • Qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, or Conveyancer.
  • 2-3 years of experience managing your own caseload of conveyancing transactions from instruction to post-completion.
  • Strong understanding of residential property law and conveyancing processes.
  • A team player who can work independently and take initiative when required.
