Vacancy: Transport Supervisor
Location: Glasgow, Scotland
Salary: £32,868-£35,000 OTE per annum
JHP Recruitment are seeking an experienced and responsible Transport Supervisor to join our Glasgow-based distribution client on a full-time, permanent basis. The successful applicant will work closely with the distribution centre management team to ensure the completion of next-day deliveries throughout the Glasgow area.
Main Accountabilities:
- Induction and training of new staff
- Ensuring provision of relief cover over holidays and sickness of the driving team
- Supporting the site management team to ensure the fleet is compliant with the O Licence obligations
- Various administrative tasks to ensure daily deliveries are completed within company guidelines
Applicant Requirements:
- Previous experience in a supervisory role, managing a team of HGV Drivers
- A full HGV Category C driving licence
- CPC Card
- Digi Tacho Card
- Forklift licence (advantageous but not essential)
Working hours:
- Start times range between 04:00-07:00
- Monday to Friday
