Salary: £110 - £140 per day, depending on experience
Contract: Full-time via agency

The Role:
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) or unqualified SEND Teacher to join our school in January 2025. The successful candidate will work across two Key Stage 1 classes, supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD). You will collaborate with teachers to deliver high-quality education, lead lessons, and provide individual support to help pupils thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and delivering tailored lessons for SEND pupils.
- Provide one-on-one and group support, helping students overcome learning barriers.
- Lead classes, interventions, and activities when required.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
- Support classroom management and encourage positive behaviour.
- Work closely with teachers, therapists, and other staff members.
- Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents.
- Participate in school events, staff meetings, and training opportunities.
About You:
- Qualifications: HLTA qualification or equivalent.
- Experience: Previous experience working with children with special educational needs, especially at the primary and Early Years levels.
- Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt learning materials to meet individual needs.
