We are currently seeking Class 1 HGV Drivers to join our team. We have two positions available offering either tramping or day shifts only. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced drivers looking for stable employment with competitive pay rates.
Our Class 1 HGV Driver duties and key responsibilities include:
- Safely operate Class 1 HGV vehicles
- Ensure timely delivery of goods
- Adhere to EU Driving and Working Time Directive (WTD) rules
- Maintain a clean driving record
- Communicate effectively with the transport team
- Conduct daily walkaround vehicle checks electronically
Our ideal Class 1 HGV Driver will have the below skills and experience:
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Class 1 Driver or similar role
- Minimum of 2 years of driving experience
- Experience in general haulage
Licence:
- Preferably clean, with no more than 6 points
Skills:
- Ability to drive long distances and work flexible hours
- Excellent knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
- Strong communication skills
