Recoveries and Collections Account Manager
As a Customer Account Manager specialising in Recoveries and Collections, the core mission of this role is to support customers through the lifecycle of their loan. You will relentlessly deliver a positive experience for our customers even when they are experiencing difficulties. You take pride in delivering the best possible outcomes for every loan, whether it is a straightforward redemption or minimising our losses on a problem loan.
Recoveries and Collections Account Manager Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of accounts in arrears, focusing on recoveries and collections.
- Contact clients who have fallen into arrears to assess their situations and develop tailored recovery plans.
- Liaise with solicitors and manage the legal process of repossessions when necessary.
- Provide exceptional customer service, maintaining a compassionate and professional approach.
- Monitor and report on account status and recovery progress.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions and transactions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline processes and improve recovery outcomes.
Recoveries and Collections Account Manager Requirements:
- Proven experience in recoveries and collections within the financial sector.
- Experience as a collection agent or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of bridging finance, business financing, and mortgage arrears.
- Experience in managing repossessions and liaising with solicitors.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in using case management and recovery software.
