We are a vibrant and inclusive primary school committed to providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for our students. We are currently in search of an experienced and dynamic Interim Business Manager to oversee our operational and financial management during a period of transition.

Day to Day of the role:

  • Oversee the school's financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Manage administrative functions such as HR, facilities, and procurement.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and school policies.
  • Collaborate with the Headteacher and senior leadership team for strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Liaise with external stakeholders, including local authorities, suppliers, and contractors.
  • Lead and manage the administrative staff team.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within an educational setting.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in budget management.
  • Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Relevant qualifications in business management, finance, or a related field are desirable.
