Activities Support Organiser - Learning Disabilities, Community Lives
Full-Time - £11.70 per hour

Our Community Lives Day Services at Boyn Grove (Maidenhead) and Oakbridge (Windsor) offer stimulating activities where people can develop skills, find companionship and improve their well-being. Having the chance to mix with other people, visit different places and learn new things can help stop individuals from feeling bored or isolated. Our exciting range of activities are delivered through a person-centred approach, tailoring each activity to individual's needs and wishes and supporting people to achieve their personal goals.

We are recruiting Activities Support Organisers for full-time roles to cover;

  • Mon - 0830-1700
  • Tue-Fri - 0830-1615
  • Occasional evenings and weekends, hours vary

As an Activities Support Organiser, you will provide high quality, person-centred support and care to individuals visiting the Day Service. Tasks may include personal care and administering medication, but you will also be involved in organising and hosting activities for our customers during their visit. There are regular on-site activities such as arts and crafts, quizzes, Rebound Therapy and making music, and plenty more in the community such as bowling, discos and nature walks.

This role requires you to be able to drive as you will be based across both our sites in Windsor and Maidenhead, as well as working in the community for off-site activities.

Experience in the care sector is not necessary as full training will be provided. What is essential is a positive attitude, a lot of energy and a willingness to get hands on during the activities with our customers.
