Location: Crawley

Salary: £38,934 - £43,260 (OTE Up to £60,000)

Hours: 8am – 5pm, Monday to Friday

Helen at TN Recruits Automotive is currently collaborating with a prestigious, high end automotive brand in their search for an experienced and accredited Master Technician who is not just a technical expert but also a natural leader with a passion for mentoring and guiding others.

The Role

This is not just another Master Technician role—this is an opportunity to lead and inspire within a thriving, high-end environment. Your role will be split between hands-on technical work and leading a team of 17 vehicle technicians and apprentices.

  • 50% Technical Expertise: You'll be the go-to person in the workshop, providing advanced diagnostics, solving complex issues, and ensuring high standards are met. Your technical know-how will be invaluable in supporting your team and ensuring the vehicles we service are maintained to the highest standard.
  • 50% Leadership: Your ability to lead with authority yet approachability is crucial. You'll manage a diverse team, mentoring apprentices and guiding experienced technicians, while also building strong, trusting relationships with clients. Your role as a mentor and coach will help shape the future of our technical team.

  • Master Technician Qualification: A must-have for this role, with at least 2-3 years of experience working with luxury brands.
  • Leadership Skills: You're more than a technician—you're a leader, a coach, and a motivator. You know how to inspire a team and create a supportive, positive working environment.
  • People Skills: Confidence, empathy, and excellent customer service skills are essential. You should be able to build rapport easily, manage client relationships with finesse, and be approachable to your team.
