Head of Analysis and Insight

Posted by West Mercia Police.

We're on a journey to shape the future of policing in Worcestershire, Herefordshire and Shropshire and we want you to be part of it.

We are looking for a leader who has a passion for analysis and wants to make a difference in policing. Your leadership will be central to enabling the force to understand the threats it faces and make better informed decisions. You will be a key member of the Strategy, Planning and Insight department's leadership team and will be responsible for the force's intelligence analysis and research teams, working closely with the Intelligence department. You will also be the force's head of profession for all analysis and be responsible for the standards of all analytical work in force.

You might be working in policing as a senior or principal analyst already or you might be someone with relevant experience from another sector looking for a new challenge. We need someone who is creative and innovative, can manage a varied workload and lead a complex and demanding area of business. If you enjoy being busy, have a strong-work ethic and a good sense of humour, you will fit in well with our team.

In return, we will offer the right candidate an interesting role based at our police HQ, just off J6 of the M5, with benefits including on-site parking, a gym and restaurant, within easy commuting distance of Worcester, Cheltenham, Gloucester and Birmingham.

If you've got the skills we need and this sounds like something you would enjoy getting stuck into then we'd love to hear from you!
