Salary: £20,000 - £25,000

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality support and care to individuals with diverse needs residing in a residential setting.
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
  • Promote a safe and supportive environment by maintaining a calm and respectful atmosphere.
  • Encourage and facilitate residents' participation in social, recreational, and educational activities.
  • Administer medication and maintain accurate documentation as per the organization's policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and address any changes in residents' physical or mental well-being, reporting concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Foster positive relationships with residents, their families, and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience working in a similar residential support or care role is highly desirable.
  • A genuine passion for supporting individuals with diverse needs and promoting their independence.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required.
  • Flexibility to work sleep-in shifts and occasional night shifts.
  • A positive attitude, resilience, and the ability to adapt in a dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and best practices in the field of residential care.
