Material Planner – Food
Leicester – 5 days onsite
£34-38k per annum
Hours: 9am to 5pm – flex with start/finish times
Do you have experience in material planning? Are you capable of working in a fast-paced environment?
I'm supporting a food business based in Leicester to recruit a Material Planner to boost their supply chain function. This role is a result of rapid expansion and growth – so it's a great time to consider joining them.
You'll be responsible for:
- Scheduling the supply of materials to meet production requirements.
- Maintaining and updating MRP data.
- Assess volume requirements against planning assumptions.
- Monitor inventory levels against targeted levels.
- Create regular reports and analysis.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to forecast, plan and facilitate material availability.
- Develop and implement processes.
You'll need to have:
- Experience in a supply chain/material planning role.
- Confidence using MRP system.
- MS Excel and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and relationship building abilities.
