Astute Recruitment are working with a well established and respected company based near Nottingham who are seeking a detail orientated, motivated and driven Sales Ledger Administrator to join their finance team.
This role is ideal for someone who takes great pride in their work and has a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the sales ledger, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and maintained
- Process customer invoices and credit notes in a timely manner
- Reconcile customer accounts and resolve any discrepancies or issues
- Monitor and chase outstanding debts, ensuring timely collection of payments
- Prepare and distribute regular reports on sales ledger status and debtor balances
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient financial operations
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with company policies and regulations
Candidate Experience:
- Proven experience in a sales ledger or similar financial administration role
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Experience with SAGE ideal but not essential
- Able to demonstrate a 'Team Player' attitude, assisting colleagues when needed
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Proactive attitude
- Adaptable attitude
Benefits and Hours:
- Salary up to £23,700 depending on experience
