We are currently seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join our clients team based in Gillingham. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, ensuring that payments are received on time and resolving any payment queries. We are looking for someone who has at least 2/3 years' experience in credit control within a fast paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Chase clients and customers for outstanding debt by phone, email and letter.
- Manage a portfolio of accounts, ensuring payments are received on time.
- Resolve any payment queries in a timely and efficient manner.
- Provide regular updates and reports to management.
- Monitor accounts and flag any potential issues.
- Liaise with other departments to resolve any issues.
- Continuously improve processes and procedures relating to credit control.
Required skills and experience:
- At least 2/3 years' experience in credit control.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including pivots and vlookups.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Good attention to detail.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and customers.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
